It is simple to get started and in a few steps you will be up and running with a professional website that you can use in your fundraising efforts. Your fundraising website is customisable with your choice of colours, logo, information and DVD catalogue. If you are a school, you may want to get your students involved by designing and customising their own websites, providing an educational, fun approach to fundraising. The ratings and categories of the DVDs that you include for sale in your catalogue of DVDs on your fundraising website are controlled by you. This means that you can make sure that only age or classification appropriate DVDs are available; which is especially useful if you are fundraising for a school. DVD Orders can be placed online on your website and the orders will be filled by EzyDVD Fundraising and sent out to your organisation for distribution once payment has been received. The set of administration tools available for fundraisers are designed to minimise effort in running your fundraising drive and to control your orders, fundraising events and DVD catalogues. Start Your DriveThe first step to creating your Fundraising Drive is to register with EzyDVD Fundraising. The process is very simple, you will be guided through a step by step process to register, choose the DVD's that you want to sell, design your website and get up and running. If you are already registered, Click here to Start Your Fundraising Drive! EducationThe EzyDVD Fundraising website has been designed to be educational and rewarding. A school wanting to raise funds can involve their students. Each student can design their own fundraising website which will form part of the school website. The changes that a student can make are limited to website design (colours and fonts) to ensure that schools do not have to monitor the content of student websites. The product catalogues used by these websites will be the same catalogue set by the school. Students will have their own website address (http://www.ezydvdfundraising.com.au/yourschoolname/student1/ so they can show family and friends their website. Order Forms and Product Catalogue will identity the student to show where the order has been referred from. After designing their websites, students will have a greater understanding about building websites, HTML or web technology, website design process, website styles, aesthetics and marketing. Fundraising EventsAs a fundraiser, you can run one or more fundraising events and have different event websites for each one. The product catalogue will be shared across all fundraising events, but each event website will be unique with a website address, organisation motto and information and online ordering system with shopping basket. While an event website is being designed, it is not available for orders to be placed. As a fundraiser, you have control over when your event is 'open' to allow orders to be placed. Once a fundraising event has been finished, the Fundraiser Administration section, available once you register as a Fundraiser, will guide you through the steps to Finalise Your Event, Enter Payments received and Process all Orders. Orders will be processed by EzyDVD Fundraising and the DVDs sent out to your organisation once the event has been finalised and the payments received. All event management links will be available in the left hand side menu of the Fundraiser Administration section once you register and log on as a Fundraiser. Profit ExamplesEzyDVD Fundraising provides a wide range of DVDs across all categories and product ratings for Fundraisers to select from. Profit from sales will be returned to the Fundraiser at the completion of each Fundraising event. The minimum profit that can be made by the Fundraiser is 10%. EzyDVD Fundraising sets a recommended retail price for all the DVDs that are available for selection in your fundraising catalogue. This recommended retail price (RRP) includes a preset profit percentage of 10%. During the initial set up of your catalogue, you can elect to either leave the profit percentage at 10% or increase it to 20%, 30%, 40% or 50%. The price of the DVDs in your catalogue will be increased by the profit amount. An example of potential profits is shown below. Please note that as DVDs have a wide range of pricing, exact profits for each DVD cannot be represented.
Once a fundraising event using this catalogue has been opened, you will be unable to change the profit percentage. Your decision to increase the profit percentage should be based on your customer’s desire to contribute to your fundraising effort and may impact your sales and therefore profit if set incorrectly.
